Policy & Advocacy

ABOUT OUR POLICY PRIORITIES

The mission of the California Black Health network is to improve the health status of people of African descent in California and eliminate health disparities through legislative, administrative and media advocacy.

As the leading organized statewide voice on African health, we assist decision-makers throughout the state to develop policies and programs that create the social, economic and environmental conditions that improve the health of our communities.

Our Areas of Focus

  • Increase the racial composition in environmental organizations and agencies to break the “green ceiling”.
