Every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to give.

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Do good and give to support health equity for all.

Give Rise to Hope

Now is the time for us to come together and make the most of these unprecedented times and give thought to the present and our future. Let’s seize the day to invest in improving health outcomes for all Californians, give rise to hope for a new and better future, and to spark the idea of equity for all of humanity!

For the 2021 Giving Tuesday Campaign, please join us in supporting “The Campaign for Black Health Equity”, a multi-year effort to mitigate the inequities that significantly impact the lives and well-being of Black Californians. Help us rewrite our “health story” and create a new health history for all of us here in California.

Ways to Give

It’s a simple idea: whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts, and everyone has something to give. We can all give our Time, Talent, and Treasure to support the causes we love and care about.
Join the movement and give – each Tuesday and every day – whether it’s some of your time, a donation, or the power of your voice in your local community.
There are many ways to give! You can:

  • Become a volunteer for CBHN
  • Support our efforts to provide coverage to all Californians, regardless of immigration status, age, disability, income, or other factors.
  • Advocate for the State to recognize racism as a public health crisis
  • Advocate for anti-racist policies and initiatives
  • Support efforts to prevent housing insecurity
  • Support the Campaign for Black Health Equity.

During the month of November, we want to know, what inspires you to give?

Post on your social media channels and tell us why you give with the hashtags #givewithcbhn #cbhninspiredtogive

Help CBHN celebrate Giving Tuesday!

Beginning November 1, CBHN will celebrate the 30 days of giving leading up to Giving Tuesday to honor ways in which we can all give of our Time, Talent and Treasure to support the causes we love and care about.

We invite you to join us on #GivingTuesday to create a California where every African American and Black Immigrant has the opportunity to live long healthy lives, free from violence, racism, and health inequities.

Being a part of GivingTuesday’s global leader network gives me energy for my own work. The diversity and breadth of leaders offers a spiritual push.
