How CBHN is Advancing Health Equity

  • Development and implementation of a statewide strategy and plan to reduce health disparities and improve life expectancy.
  • Improving the health literacy of individuals/patients and healthcare providers across Californians.
  • Dismantling implicit bias and structural racism within the healthcare system.
  • Mitigating health risks for Black women associated with the exposure to toxic chemicals in haircare and personal care products.
  • Driving community engagement to cultivate power building in under resourced communities across California.
  • Supporting the creation of a pipeline of healthcare professionals that reflect the communities they serve.

Other Ways to Give

Help CBHN celebrate Giving Tuesday!

Beginning November 1, CBHN will celebrate the 30 days of giving leading up to Giving Tuesday to honor ways in which we can all give of our Time, Talent and Treasure to support the causes we love and care about.

We invite you to join us on #GivingTuesday to create a California where every African American and Black Immigrant has the opportunity to live long healthy lives, free from violence, racism, and health inequities.
