As a passionate advocate for maternal and reproductive justice, I, Pamela Cullum, proudly serve as the CEO of Care4U Solutions and Health Equity Trainer for the Sonoma HEALs Doula Program. My commitment to health equity is rooted in the belief that every individual—regardless of race, ethnicity, income, gender identity, or zip code—deserves respectful, culturally competent, and high-quality care throughout the birth and postpartum experience. At Care4U Solutions and through my work with Sonoma HEALs, I strive to dismantle systemic barriers that contribute to disparities in maternal and infant outcomes, particularly within Black, Indigenous, and other historically marginalized communities. By educating doulas, healthcare providers, and community partners through a health equity lens, I aim to center lived experiences, elevate community voices, and empower birthing families to make informed, supported decisions. Health equity is not a one-time initiative—it is a lifelong commitment to justice, access, and healing.
