About Loree Johnson

drloreejohnson.com/

Dr . Loree Johnson has combined over 20 years of professional clinical experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (L.M.F.T.) with her personal fertility journey to help others who are going through similar experiences. Dr. Loree started her career in community-based mental health services focused on adolescents and their families. However, she later transitioned to working in the infertility and loss communities after seeing many clients present with issues related to fertility and loss. In particular, clients of color expressed a sense of isolation and confusion about their fertility journey. With her firsthand experience with fertility challenges, coupled with the lack of representation of therapists of color in the fertility space, Dr. Loree found her purpose in supporting individuals and couples on their reproductive path. Dr. Loree helps her clients navigate uncertainty in their relationships and overcome the emotional challenges of fertility problems and pregnancy loss. With research-based approaches, including E.M.D.R. (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), applied through a holistic lens, Dr. Loree’s clients are able to learn how to heal debilitating trauma and reconnect more deeply with themselves and their partners.

Dr. Loree Johnson has over 25 years of clinical experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Her expertise spans a wide range of specialties, including reproductive mental health, trauma recovery, couples therapy, and supporting families navigating complex life transitions. Her practice also includes working with neurodivergent individuals, leveraging her personal understanding of navigating a neurotypical world as a neurodivergent person herself. Beyond individual and couples therapy, Dr. Loree’s clinical work reflects her dedication to addressing health disparities, especially within marginalized communities. She integrates her academic training, including a Master’s and Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from a program focused on social justice, into her practice.
